Joshua Samra
Prior to joining Stranch, Jennings & Garvey, Joshua Samra served as an associate at a class action firm, where he was involved in all aspects of the firm’s antitrust and consumer investigations and litigations.
At this firm, Mr. Samra was a significant member of the legal team that litigated In re: Facebook, Inc., Consumer Privacy User Profile Litigation. This landmark case resulted in a $725 million settlement – the largest privacy class action settlement in history.
He has also served as a deputy district attorney in Contra Costa County in California. In this capacity, he oversaw all phases of criminal prosecutions, such as arguing pre-trial motions, litigating post-trial appeals and prosecuting 10 jury trials to verdict.
