Kerry Dietz
Attorney
Nashville native Kerry Dietz has been working for more than a decade in the community where she was born and raised. She focuses her work on labor and employment law, with an emphasis on union and employee advocacy.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Dietz served as a housing and consumer protection attorney with the Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands. During her tenure there, she headed the firm’s Nashville housing team, defended clients in public and subsidized housing against evictions, fought illegal housing discrimination, enforced legal protections for consumers, and advocated individually and systemically on behalf of underinvested communities, families and people. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she played an early and integral role in launching the Nashville L.E.G.A.C.Y. Housing Resource Diversionary Court & Program.
Ms. Dietz earned her J.D. in 2016 from Belmont University College of Law, where she served as Editor-In-Chief of the Belmont Law Review. Before law school and again briefly after graduating, she worked in Congressman Jim Cooper’s district office.
Ms. Dietz and her husband, Daniel, a mastering engineer, live near Radnor Lake State Park, where their indoor cats and a variety of local wildlife ensure they rarely suffer a dull moment.
