Founding and managing member J. Gerard Stranch IV was named to the Nashville Post’s 2023 “In Charge” list. The annual list recognizes influential business, political and civic leaders who are making an impact in Middle Tennessee.
This year’s list includes 675 individuals organized among 19 sectors. Stranch was one of 66 Nashville-area attorneys chosen for the Post’s “In Charge – Legal” list. He has been named to the list each year since 2018, when the Legal sector was added to the annual “In Charge” list.
A third-generation lawyer, Stranch leads the firm’s class action, complex litigation and mass tort practice groups and serves on the executive committee of the Class Action Trial Lawyers Association.
He has served as the lead trial counsel in several high-profile Tennessee suits against opioid manufacturers, and as class counsel for the negotiation class in the multi-district national prescription opioid litigation (MDL 2804) in Cleveland, Ohio.
